A review of the new modern ice cream shop in town: Snobachi
So let me start off by saying I LOVE THIS PLACE! I loved the concept, the people were warm and friendly, and the ice cream was fresh and yummy! What a nice spin to eating ice cream... okay, I'll stop going on a tangent and just let you know about it!
Snobachi is an ice cream parlor in the heart of Ybor City that serves ice cream in the form of sushi. For any mother that gets a kick out of taking their children to see out of the ordinary things this place is for you! Now... it is in Tampa so apologies to all my out of town readers.
So basically you get there and you can either chose a signature sushi dish or you can make your own (ice creams are about $7 each). The ice cream has NO sushi in it, they basically make the ice cream the same way you would make sushi. Depending on what you choose they put the ingredients on an ice surface and pour milk over it that instantly turns into ice cream. They roll the mix out, cut it, and serve it in a bowl... the ice cream looks like little sushi. Everything they put in the ice cream they than add on top of it as well. Check out my Instagram @beautandbeastllc to see a video of them making the "sushi". They also have something called Dragon's Breathe... but I won't tell you what it is, you have to go there yourself!
