Dave& Busters: Is this arcade a hit or an over priced miss?

A review on Dave and Busters arcade, bar, and restaurant

Hey moms! So I wanted to complete a quick review on Dave&Busters for the kids... even though this can serve as an arcade for adults as well.

Review

Overall, it wasn't a bad place... not the cheapest but there are a lot of games that you can play like basketball, air hockey, racing, gun games, four square, etc. To play any of the games you need to have points loaded on a card. There is an initial fee for activating a card so if you plan on going again I would suggest saving the card and reloading. The games range from 4-8 points from what I saw so it pays to add a little more points in the beginning versus reloading.

Pricing

$10 = 48 CHIPS
$20 = 100 CHIPS
$25 = 135 CHIPS
$35 = 200 CHIPS
$50 = 300 CHIPS

4 PLAYER PACK
$25 CARDS = 170 CHIPS EACH
$35 CARDS = 250 CHIPS EACH
$50 CARDS = 375 CHIPS EACH

Restaurant

The food they serve is your typical burgers, fries, chicken strips, etc. ordeal. I was not impressed with the food to be honest. It was the type of food you get at a bowling alley... where your only hopes of it tasting decent is if its super hot. The bar had all your typical long island, rum&coke drinks for about the same price you get anywhere.

Downside

You cannot buy anything in the arcade shops with cash, it all has to be with points.... so needless to say my son was disappointed. Besides that for an arcade only I would recommend... for food I would suggest to go elsewhere.
