The Monster Jam

Monster Jam: Review on monster truck racing

Let me start off by saying I seriously underestimated this event and the performance. I got 3rd row tickets for about $62. To purchase tickets and see where else there will be an event check out CLICK HERE. Experience has taught me when seeing shows in an area sometimes its better to be atop to see the entire show. So, I went to the one in Tampa @ Raymon James Stadium. Again, I underestimated how popular this event was so I didn't get there until around 6:45 PM. Big mistake! The event was PACKED, we had to park across the street and walk a good ten blocks to get to the stadium. We didn't sit down until 7:35ish PM and I regret missing the 35 minutes that I missed. The show starts off with racing between 14-16 monster trucks and each winner is scored based on a ranking. The races were incredible, two laps around the track && some of the trucks were destroyed in the process.

Free style event, by far the best part of the show. The monster trucks really got damaged during freestyles.

In addition to the judges, fans were selected to add to each of the contestants scores. Some of the trucks didn't last 30 seconds because they were wrecking out trying to perform backflips, jumps, swirls, etc. The one's that did though were epic. I can't write enough on how exciting it was to see the trucks perform. You would literally have to see it. My favorites by far were Monster Mutt, Mad Scientist, Dragon, and the Grave Digger (because he is my son's favorite).
