A book on generational trauma
I absolutely love this book, I didn't finish it but I got exactly what I needed from it. Mark talks about his personal journey on healing himself and fixing his relationship with his parents. In turn, this book has changed my entire outlook on my relationship with my parents and my fears. If you WANT to repair your relationship with your parents, get this book. It breaks down generational curses to the science behind them. The fears that are carried, how we carry the negative traits of our parents that we hate so much, where the idea of “I don’t want to turn out like my mother” roots from. It doesn’t just identify the problem, it helps you understand the problem. A lot of times we carry these unexplainable fears or negative outlooks in life and we don’t know how to shake them because we haven’t been taught to do so. Our parents were raised in a constant fear. Their parents were raised in a constant fear. Their parents, etc. etc. but it can end with you.
