Listen,
There is nothing harder to break than a bad habit other than starting a good one. To be prepared for opportunities that are coming your way; you've got to get comfortable with creating those good habits. It's hard and sometimes it's overwhelming. However, there is no shortcut around it. Opportunities come to those who are prepared. Preparation comes from action. Actions are a representation of the discipline you have to reach your goals. The habits you form to keep yourself aligned.
My advice? Everyday do at least ONE thing that is going to put you in a position for opportunity in your finances, with your health, family, and spiritually. It can be drinking a little less soda each day until one day you throw away half a bottle. Reading one more chapter in a book, studying a little longer. It doesn't matter. Keep building on small steps until they become big. That's how you begin attracting opportunities by showing in your actions that you are prepared for what's coming.
- Read the book, "How to Make Sh*t Happen" by Sean Whalen - this is a very short and to the point read that discusses how to build habits
- Watch the video, "Discipline or Regret?" - for motivational purposes
